Nothing here is accountancy, tax or legal advice, and we are not accountants. Choosing payroll software is a compliance decision: if you get it wrong, the consequence is yours. Take advice before you commit.

Accuracy, and its limits

The product list comes from HMRC and the pricing states from suppliers’ own sites on the dates shown. Both change without notice. A supplier can publish, withdraw or alter pricing the day after we look, so treat the supplier’s own page as the authority and use ours to find it. We publish no prices at all, for the reasons in the methodology.

Third-party sites

Links to suppliers are for your convenience. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement. Some may earn us a commission: how we make money.

Reusing our work

HMRC’s underlying list is Crown copyright, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and you can use it on the same terms. Our compilation, classification and transparency measurement are ours: quote them, cite them and link to the page you took them from. The CSV download exists so you can, and so you can check us.
